My travel

I always used to travel with my parents when I was younger. So, it was natural for me to go at the other side of the world with a Working Holiday Visa in my pocket. On the 4th of December, I finally made my first step on the kiwi’s territory. I did the second one when I broke my drone on a rugby pole and the third one is the entire reason of this blog; I bought my camera, the Canon R6 mark II. I was so happy! Since then, I’ve never stopped taking photos and videos of New Zealand. I hope I’m getting better every day to make you feel, one day, the same emotions as I do when taking these photos. Another way to see…

Starry Night

When I arrived in New Zealand, I was expecting a lot of different things, but I was far away to imagine the beauty I had just above my head. Almost every single night I was pointed my eyes in this specific direction: the bright sky. I’ve never seen a sky so pure, so perfect, so beautiful. The reason is quite logical; New Zealand is home to an international Dark Sky Reserve, meaning that it has some of the clearest skies in the world. I perfectly remember the feeling I had the first time I shot the stars. After that I just wanted to wait for the cold nights of New Zealand and start again, again and again…

Sunrise & Sunset

It’s kind of funny to think that here, in New Zealand we are in advance of almost all the other countries on the world. It’s considered as the first country to see the sun. So basically, we are among the first one to see the sunset as well, right? I like to think I can be one of the first to catch these rays and lights that makes the instant so special. This big fire ball could never make me bored, to look at this passing on the other side of the planet, making the world alive or giving him some peace. The sun is probably speaking to everyone and will keep continue shining and make our days happy. I have to tell you by the way… I might have a big problem with the sunsets, I love it!

Magical Mountains

One of my favourite places in the world, where I feel I really belong: the mountains. When I look at those huge monsters of rocks I feel this attraction, deep in my heart. They are calling me, asking me to confront them and to finally reach to the top. But the most satisfying thing and the most wonderful is that I keep climbing. Some people could think mountains are dangerous and they are right, but they’re also the one that make us feel serenity, calm and peaceful. That’s why they are the perfect mix for me as photographer. I’m still struggling to represent to mountains how they really are, how I see them, what they represent to me but I keep working on it. I keep climbing, always.

wonderful Animals

New Zealand is a wonderful country known for plenty of things but one: the fauna. I think it’s the thing I miss the most travelling here, the presence of animals. They still have some, of course but mainly composed of birds that are protected. I don’t advise you to kill a duck or you can have a lot of troubles! Next to that the country is driving a politic of predator free to save their native species. Which means a lot of animals, especially the rodents are getting killed. It has a big impact on the nature and the animals we can find. I personally found some, free and elegant. It’s a real pleasure to have to opportunity to capture them, the time of a moment.
